PICKING GREENS JAN 18th- STILL HAVE TURKEYS TO BE DONE

HAVE 8 ABOUT 25 LB. TURKEYS WE NEED TO BUTCHER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED PLEASE CALL ME.
WE CAN DO HALF A TURKEY IF WE HAVE SOMEONE FOR THE OTHER HALF
I ALSO HAVE TWO FROZEN TURKEYS NO ONE PICKED UP FROM CHRISTMAS THAT ARE ABOUT 19 LB.
THEY ARE $2.25 A LB.

I have had many new members asking how much a membership will buy this is the best way I can let everyone see the cost of the produce that will be deducted from your membership as you shop. The 2010 membership season is from May 1st to May 1st of 2011
Just keep in mind that after Nov. there will not be as much produce to get on your membership.
We will be doing greens maybe some tomatoes later into the season as well as strawberries for next winter.
  • Beets with or with out tops ----$1.50 per lb.
  • Young Beet tops ----- $2.00 per lb.
  • Carrots ------- $1.50 lb.
  • Corn ---- $4.50 Dz. / $2.50 half dz./ .50 per ear
  • Cabbage (head type green, red, savory) ----- .50 lb.
  • Cucumbers standard ----- $1.00 lb.
  • Pickling small cucumbers ---- $1.50 a lb
  • Cantaloupe ----- from $2.00 to $3.00 ea.
  • Beans (yellow and green) ----- $1.50 lb.
  • Peas ----$2.50 lb.
  • Sweet Peppers (green bell, Banana and some others) --- $1.50 lb.
  • Hot Peppers (Hungarian, Cheyenne, jalapeno, and others)----$1.75 lb.
  • Colored bell/sweet peppers ----- $1.75 lb.
  • Okra ---- $1.50 lb.
  • Egg Plant (several type standard purple, fairy tail, Turkish orange) - $1.50 lb.
  • Tomatoes (heirloom, slicers several type, paste several type)-$1.75 lb.
  • Cauliflower --- $1.50 lb.
  • Potatoes (reds, Yukon Golds) - .70 lb.
  • Summer Squashes -- $1.00 lb.
  • Winter Squashes --- .75 lb.
  • Watermelons --- $2.00 to $5.00 ea.
  • Baby Greens (leaf lettuce, kale, mustard,arugula, & more)- .25 oz./$4.00 lb.
  • Swiss Chard, Spinach -- .25 oz./$4.00 lb.
  • Large Greens (Collards, Mustard, Kale, Turnip, Radish, Chinese Cabbage)-$2.00 lb.
  • Turnip, Radish (several type radish) -- $1.00 lb.
  • Broccoli --- $2.00 lb.
  • Herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme, cilantro, Oregano, Marjoram, Chives, Onion Chives, lavender, Stiva, Lemon Verbena, dill, Fennel) -- $1.75 oz.
Onions (large white sweets, yellow, white, green) - $1.50 lb.

  • Chicken Meat --- $2.75 lb ($1.00 extra for cutting up if you don't want whole)
  • Turkey Meat - $2.25 lb. (cut up charge as chickens)
  • (Heart, Gizzard, Liver with not be with your chicken unless you ask for them as most of you do not want them so I do not pack them with the chicken, let me know if you do not want your turkey organs, can do chicken feet by request - $2.50 lb.)

  • Our Home Made Bake goods - pies (cherry, peach, apple, blue berry, black raspberry, rhubarb, strawberry - our fruits), Angel Food Cake (try our whole wheat angel food), cookies. Pies - $8.00 Angel Food - $6.00
  • We use organic ingredients and our eggs, fruit, berries, milk and butter, can choose from whole wheat, white unbleached flour, butter or lard -- let us know what you are looking for and we will let you know if we can do it.

(NOW THROUGH THE WINTER CAN GET MY EGGS AT THE COIT RD. MARKET ON SATURDAYS 8A.M. TO 1 P.M.)

I AM NOT FOR SURE YET BUT AM LEANING TOWARD HAVING THE STAND OPEN HERE ON THURS. AND FRI. FOR PICK UP ALSO. I WILL LET YOU KNOW BY THE END OF THE MONTH.
