Strawberries are done for the year

Reminder Pick Up days are Thur. and Sunday not before 2 P.M. till 8:00/8:30 P.M. The Strawberries are done for the year.. But, we may have raspberries as soon as Thur.
Raspberries -- $3.50 a pint
Currents -- $4.00 a pint (this will be it for the year have a limited amount berry members first)
Beets with Tops -- $1.50 a lb.
Green Onions -- a dz. $2.50
Summer Squash -- $1.00 a lb. (yellow summer and Zucchini)
Peas -- $2.50 a lb. (peas only go for a couple of weeks so best get while you can)
Nastirtium flowers -- $1.75 an oz. (about 16)
Day lily flower -- .25 cents a stem (keep like cut flowers as a flower opens pick it great just to eat or can add to a salad or batter and fry like a squash flower)This will be the last week for these for the year.
Lemon Balm -- 2 oz. $1.50
Spearmint ---- 2 oz. - $1.50
Chocolate Mint --- 2 oz. ----- $1.50
Radish tops (great soup) -- $1.50 a lb. (have to give a rest this week)

Berries

Strawberries are still coming in a few less Quarts a day this week -- $3.50 a qt.
Green Onions --- $2.50 a DZ. or 6 for $1.25
Baby Beets with tops --- $1.50 a LB.
Rosemary -- $1.75 an oz.
Oregano --- $1.75 an oz.
Sweet basil --- $1.75 an oz.
Eggs - $2.00 a dz.
Whole Frozen Chickens -- young/$2.75 a lb. (average 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lbs.), older hens --$2.00 a lb. average 3 lb.
Rhubarb -- $2.50 a Lb.
Spearmint -- Chocolate mint --- Lemon Balm --- Garden mint --- 3 oz./$1.50
I May have cut and in small packages you can add to your order on pick up day:
Sage $1.75 an oz
Kale -- .40 an oz.
French Tarragon -- $1.75 an oz
Garden Sorrel --- .40 an oz.
Chinese Cabbage --- .40 an oz.
All vegetables are planted out of the green house, will start some late crops now in the green house. Have about an half acre of seed for second planting to do this week. Have the net over the currents as a few were starting to turn red and the Robins were waiting in line to eat all. See Flowers starting on the Melons. Summer squash are getting close.
Some little green tomatoes starting and peppers. If the rain and heat keeps up during the day that will make most of the plants happy.
Pick up hours for the next couple weeks will be Thur. 2 P.M. till 8:30 P.M.
Sunday 12:30 P.M. till 8 P.M.

SMALL AMOUNTS OR ARUGULA, NASTURTIUM FLOWERS, SPINACH, -- 1.75 AN OZ.
RADISH TOPS (have soup receipe) -
Michihili Chinese Cabbage--- $1.60 a quarter lb.

~~Note you do not have to order in the amounts as above that is so you can see what the prices are on items. Greens and Herbs are light, Herbs are stronger fresh and the hotter the days the stronger.

Things are starting to shape up

Nasturtiums -- flower and leaf -- 1.75 an oz.
Oregano -- 1.75 an oz.
Lemon Thyme -- 1.75 an oz.
Borage -- 1.75 an oz.
Chives and flower -- 2 oz. for 1.50
Sweet Basil -- 1.75 an oz.

Radish leaf have a great soup recipe for them. 1.00 a lb.

Chocolate Mint, Garden Mint, Lemon Balm all great for tea or cook with or in your salad - 1.50 for 2 oz.

Eggs -- 2.00 a dz.
